SKATING THE MINERAL BELT TRAIL
The Mineral Belt Trail is an 11.6 mile paved loop around the city of Leadville.  The trail passes through conifer and aspen forests, wildflower meadows, and  parts of the Leadville Historic Mining District.Portions of the trail are well used by our local longboarders.  Annually, a timed race event called Blaze the Belt is held on the trail as a fundraiser for skateboarding projects.
