Disc Golf Tourney Raises Funds For Skatepark

Donny Conner, member of the skatepark committee under the Partners for Lake County Recreation, hosted the Leadville Disc Golf Tournament on July 25.

The competitors played a full 18 holes of the Frisbee golf course behind Colorado Mountain College. Scoring is similar to golf, in that a par is set for each hole, which is a basket to catch the Frisbee.

Jason Hacc was the lowest-scoring male and Becki Barham placed first for the women.

In the kids’ categories, Grace Mei Parker and Joel Parker both took first place.
