HAVING FUN WHILE RAISING SKATEPARK FUNDS

The ice rink turned into a picnic ground Saturday as members of the skatepark committee held a barbecue/silent-auction fund-raiser for the park.

Fifty Adults and 35 children attended, and the committee raised about $3,500 along with pledges for an additional $1,000, according to Greg Race, commitee member.
